About Project
Noble Parks and Pools Limited undertook the engineering and construction of the expansive commercial swimming complex at Ocean City. Designed as a multi-zone aquatic destination, the facility caters to fitness enthusiasts, leisure swimmers, and families alike. The development incorporates a semi-Olympic sized lap pool with dividing lane ropes, an extended curved leisure lagoon, dedicated shallow wading areas, and custom architectural bridges that seamlessly guide foot traffic across water channels.
Challenges & Solutions
Constructing a high-capacity commercial pool facility within an urban residential setting presented complex structural and zoning considerations. The construction required balancing large-scale water volume management, pedestrian safety, and long-term durability against high foot traffic.
Challenges:
Integrating lap swimming lanes alongside casual play lagoons required managing variable water depths safely. Additionally, crossing water channels without restricting swimmer flow or compromising structural integrity demanded specialized civil engineering.
Solutions:
Our engineering team fabricated custom arched pedestrian bridges complete with white safety railings and anti-slip steps. We separated lap lanes with floating dividers while connecting shallow zones with synthetic grass accents and heavy-duty concrete coping.
